Moscow Design Exhibition ARTDOM Set to Debut in Riyadh
RIYADH – The internationally acclaimed design exhibition ARTDOM, originally founded in Moscow, is making its Middle Eastern debut in Riyadh from November 11 to 12. The event, hosted at the Four Seasons Hotel at the Kingdom Center, promises to be a vibrant convergence of collectible furniture, interior design, and contemporary art.
With over 200 brands and manufacturers participating, the showcase will include representatives from design powerhouses in Italy, France, and Russia, alongside a growing number of regional Middle Eastern designers. For many participating labels, this marks their first-ever presentation in the Middle East.
ARTDOM’s founder, Daria Zolotova, explained the reason behind choosing Riyadh as the first stop for its Middle Eastern expansion: “…due to the ‘big boom in construction and culture’ in the region.”
The exhibition isn’t just about aesthetic display—it aims to serve as a connective platform for designers, buyers, brands, and manufacturers, fostering new opportunities and collaborations.
Industry icons set to grace the event’s lineup include:
- Carlo Colombo, architect and designer, co-owner of Studio A++
- Giulio Cappellini, founder and art director of Cappellini
- Rossana Orlandi, renowned international gallerist and design curator
- Marzia and Leonardo Dainelli, founders of Dainelli Studio
These luminaries will lead a series of workshops and talks, exchanging insights with up-and-coming designers and industry peers.
As part of its mission to uplift local talent, ARTDOM will also host the “ARTDOM Talents: Furniture and Objects Design Competition”, which includes categories in lighting, decor, and furniture design. The competition aims to spotlight emerging Saudi and Gulf creatives, providing a gateway to international exposure.
“It is important for us to matchmake between international brands and local players,” added Zolotova.
After its Riyadh showcase, ARTDOM plans to extend its presence across the UAE, Oman, and Qatar, continuing its goal of building global-local bridges in the world of design.
