The announcement further cements Nesma & Partners’ reputation for taking the lead on landmark projects within the region. The Qiddiya Performing Arts Centre is being developed as a centerpiece for the new Qiddiya City, a giga-project envisioned to transform the entertainment, sports, and cultural sectors in the Kingdom. The centre aims to host world-class productions, nurture regional talent, and serve as a cultural hub for both residents and visitors. According to the statement released, the scope of work includes the design, construction, finishing, and commissioning of the Performing Arts Centre – ensuring it adheres to global standards for acoustics, technology, and audience experience. The facility will feature a main theatre, rehearsal studios, exhibition spaces, and outdoor event areas. “The awarding of the Qiddiya Performing Arts Centre contract marks a significant milestone in the journey of Qiddiya as we move closer to bringing a one-of-a-kind cultural and entertainment destination to life,” said Ahmed AlKhatib, Chairman of Qiddiya Investment Company.
