Emirati Music Education Programme Launches to Nurture Young Talent in Dubai
The National Youth Orchestra – Dubai (NYO Dubai), in partnership with the Dubai Culture and Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), has unveiled the Emirati Music Education Programme—a pioneering initiative dedicated to discovering and developing young Emirati musicians.
With a vision of enriching the cultural and creative scene of the emirate, the programme seeks to introduce new energies capable of supporting the sector’s sustainability and reinforcing Dubai’s reputation as a global hub for the creative economy.
Developed under the auspices of the Dubai Cultural Grant, the Emirati Music Education Programme provides participants with structured training in music history, theory, and classical performance practices. Students will receive expert instruction across string and wind instruments, as well as in choral and ensemble work. The initiative also features hands-on workshops led by the faculty of NYO Dubai.

Applicants will participate in an admissions test designed to assess their current musical proficiency, ensuring they are equipped to take full advantage of the opportunities presented by the programme.
